Revolution Park

Founded in the early 1930's Revolution Park Golf Course (originally named Bonnie Brae Golf Course) was designed by the Corps of Engineers as an 18 hole layout. The golf course was later condensed to 9 holes and modified once again in the late 1970's as interstate I-77 was developed. Nestled in beautiful maples, pines, and hardwoods, Revolution Park GC has been dubbed "Charlotte's only nine-hole Country Club!" The quaint neighborhood adjoining it consists of homes that are Craftsman, Bungalow and Colonial Revival style of frame and brick. Today this community is experiencing a rebirth as housing in the center city is ballooning in price, people are moving into this community and refurbishing homes.

Location

Revolution Park is conveniently located close to Uptown Charlotte. It sits 1 mile West of the Uptown and is served by major thoroughfares including, West Blvd and I-77.

Less than half a mile away you will find nearby retail including a Wal-Mart Supercenter recently competed in 2006.

Revolution Park and Clanton Parks are also a short distance away. Revolution Park features a public golf course.
